To expand, it is necessary to look at the movements we made and the results that strengthened us in the past year. This is how we managed to drive new steps and keep up with the challenge of growth.

2022 was a year of many events. Starting with the resumption of post-pandemic lockdown activities, the war in Ukraine, election year, world cup… and that influenced the world, the country and, of course, all trading relationships.

In the first nine months of 2022, Brazil exported US$ 253.6 billion, an amount that represents an increase of 18.9% compared to the same period of 2021. In imports, between January and September, we imported US$ 205.9 billion. The value represents a growth of 31.3% compared to the period of the previous year.

According to the Brazilian Foreign Trade Monitor, issued in November by SECEX- Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Economy, the volume of exports for the month of October grew by 4.4%, being the 4th consecutive recent growth. In relation to the entire historical series, the total volume exported reached the 1st highest result.

Some important destination markets appear to be responsible for this, with emphasis on growth in exports to Oceania, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and South America.

It is important to note that all activities in Brazil, and in particular the COMEX movements, bring this strength of connections with nations around the world.

There are multiple variables; and we have to know how to see and listen to leverage successful solutions.

May the year of 2023 multiply our forces and bring generous results to our sector. Welcome to 2023!
