Mover Helipa is an organization born within Heliópolis that, for over 15 years, has worked directly to transform realities through education, solidarity, and the creation of opportunities. Founded by leaders from the community itself, the movement understands firsthand both the challenges and the strengths of the territory. It was precisely in response to the urgency of hunger — intensified during the pandemic — that its impact expanded, evolving from an improvised structure into a recognized reference in the fight against food insecurity.
Today, this work is strengthened through the Cozinha Escola Network, which provides hundreds of daily meals, and, above all, through its commitment to education as a path to transformation. The MOVER Helipa School of Gastronomy stands out as one of its most powerful pillars: a space where food moves beyond assistance and becomes profession, future, and dignity. Through high-level culinary training, the project prepares talents from underserved communities to work in demanding markets, connecting technical skills, self-confidence, and new life perspectives.
More than feeding, MOVER educates, develops, and empowers.
And it is precisely at this intersection that collaborative projects gain even greater strength. Partnerships with companies that believe in care as a driver of transformation, in the creation of real opportunities, and in the power of education — such as Lumina, through the Recipes that Embrace Movement — expand impact and build bridges between different realities. Because when purpose and action move together, transformation stops being an intention and becomes a legacy.

The health impact is enormous.
Research links loneliness to serious risks:
- +29% risk of heart disease
- +32% risk of stroke
- +50% risk of dementia in older adults
- Significant increase in depression, anxiety, and substance abuse
Some researchers compare the impact of loneliness to smoking approximately 15 cigarettes per day in terms of health risk.
Because of this, loneliness is now treated as a public health issue, not just a psychological one.
Young People Are the Most Affected
Contrary to common belief (that loneliness is mainly a problem among the elderly), recent data indicates:
- 17%–21% of young people aged 13–29 report loneliness globally
- In some surveys, up to 70% of teenagers report recurring feelings of loneliness
In other words, this is a digitally hyperconnected generation, but socially fragile.
Social Media and Cultural Changes
Scientific literature identifies structural factors:
- Relationships mediated by social media
- Reduced in-person interactions
- Less participation in communities, churches, or associations
- Fewer close friendships
- Remote work and individualized lifestyles
Studies also show correlations between higher social media use and increased loneliness in certain groups.
This has led researchers to refer to a “loneliness epidemic” or “global social connection crisis“ — the most connected generation in history is also the loneliest.
The Book “People Who Shine at the Table”
To celebrate two decades of history, Lumina invites people from around the world to share something that crosses borders, creates connections, and builds memories: their recipes. Each dish shared carries more than ingredients — it brings stories, family traditions, cultures, and emotions that span generations.
Throughout this journey, it will not be just about preparing dishes. It will be about sharing stories of care and connection, discovering cultures, and building dreams.
As a result of this global chain of collaboration, the book “People Who Shine at the Table” will be born — a work that will bring together selected recipes, the stories of those who shared their flavors, the cultures that inspired each dish, and Lumina’s 20-year journey.
“People Who Shine at the Table” will be a record of encounters, social transformation, and the strength that emerges when people connect around a shared purpose.
Because when people share their stories, when cultures meet, and when opportunities are created, something special happens.
Come to the table with us.
More than facilitating import and export operations, from the very beginning we chose to build relationships — relationships grounded in trust, transparency, and market intelligence, capable of turning challenges into pathways and opportunities into tangible results.
Over these 20 years, we have evolved alongside every client, partner, and project. We went beyond transactions. We immersed ourselves in markets, anticipated movements, connected companies to new global possibilities, and helped structure operations that remain strong to this day.
We specialize in going deeper. In understanding each need in a unique way. In finding the right solutions around the world and delivering them with strategy, security, and agility.
Celebrating 20 years means recognizing the journey we have built — but, above all, reaffirming that it was PEOPLE who brought us here.
We continue looking toward the future with the same energy we had at the beginning, strengthening relationships between people, opening new paths, and illuminating new possibilities in international trade.
Lumina — We go deeper!
